This route goes through many typical hilltop towns in the Senigallia country side but when it by passes them we still recommend making a detour of two or at the most three km to visit the historic centres. You will always encounter steep slopes before reaching the villages so by adding on only a few km to your route you will gain substantial height difference.

This feature and the continuous change of rhythm that the hilly route demands means a route of average difficulty contrary to what the relation between length /height difference may lead you to believe.
